“Who You Gonna Call? Bug Busters”

  • Northgate Family Chiropractic 12245 Voyager Parkway Colorado Springs, CO, 80921 United States (map)

As we enter the fall season, conversations around sickness, germs, and immunity become more common. But what if we’ve been viewing the immune system all wrong? Our bodies were designed with incredible intelligence and adaptability. Symptoms like fever, mucus, coughing, and fatigue are not always signs that the body is failing—they are actually signs that the body is fighting for you.

At this month’s Teach N’ Preach, “Who You Gonna Call? Bug Busters,” we’ll explore how to build a resilient internal environment that supports immune health year-round. We’ll discuss why some people seem to get sick more often than others, how stress and lifestyle impact immunity, and practical ways to strengthen the body’s natural defenses. Rather than focusing solely on avoiding germs, we’ll examine how nutrition, rest, nervous system health, and healthy habits can help the body adapt and recover.

We’ll also explore the role of the nervous system, the effects of chronic stress on the immune system, and how our bodies sometimes provide warning signs that something is out of balance. Join us as we learn how to work with our bodies—not against them—to support the health God designed us for.
